Thinking about having us print your documents? Got a question concerning file format, the printing process or other related topics? Here is a selection of the most commonly asked questions about our printing services.

1. How can I deliver the documents I need to print to Harlequin Press Ltd?

Please send us your files by

E-mail to: office@harlequin-press.co.uk

or deliver them to the office on a CD, DVD or USB flash drive.

If it is a particularly large (over 20mb) file then we suggest a file sending service such as wetransfer.com or hightail.com.

 

Alternatively you can use our Dropbox.

2. Which file format should I use?

High resolution pdf's are a good option, but check with us first to ensure it is set up correctly.

We work in Adobe InDesign and QuarkXpress.

For printing images, we recommend JPG, PSD, TIFF, AI or EPS.

 

3. What resolution do I need my images to be?

Images should be 300dpi at the size the image will be printed.

We can reduce the resolution of larger files but it is not possibe to increase the resolution or quality of smaller files.

 

4. Can I view my job before printing?

We recommend you see a proof to check before printing.

We can supply a pdf proof by email or digitally printed proof.
